Order Processing Times for Website Purchases
The majority of our pieces are handmade and thus our order processing time is 2-3 weeks. During seasonal times like Valentine's, Black Friday and Christmas, order processing can take up to 3-4 weeks. We appreciate your patience while we prepare your order.
Shipping Times
We ship from Hawaii to all states in the United States by USPS. Your order is expected to arrive 3-5 business days from the date the order is shipped. Customers will receive a tracking number by email, so be sure the email you provide is accurate.
Shipping Costs
Orders shipping to an address in the United States have a flat rate of $6.00. Currently, insurance is provided by Route at no charge to the customer. This is subject to change without notice.
Lost/Stolen/Damaged Mail
Kahakai Collections is not responsible for lost or stole packages or items that have been damaged or tampered with through the mailing process. Kahakai Collections is also not responsible for packages sent to the wrong mailing address provided by the purchaser.
If your package is lost, stolen or damaged, please contact the U.S. Postal Service directly to file a claim and/or report the tampering and/or theft. You will need your tracking number that you would have received by email. In addition, you may file a claim directly with Route, insurance paid for by Kahakai Collections, for the replacement cost resulting from your item being lost, stolen or damaged during shipment.
Order Processing Time/Shipping for Pieces Purchased from an IG Live
Pieces purchased on IG Live on Wednesdays and/or Sundays are ready to ship and will ship out on Fridays. However, if the purchaser has requested a custom order be added, Kahakai Collections may decide to hold off on shipping the IG live item(s) until the custom order is ready to be shipped. Kahakai Collections will work with the customer on this. This is subject to change without notice.
Shipping Costs for IG Live Purchases
Kahakai Collections covers the shipping fee for all orders $200 and over. These orders will be shipped out via USPS Ground Advantage (formerly First Class Mail). For orders $300 and over, Kahakai Collections will cover the costs for upgraded shipping to Priority Mail.
